The Russian security systems industry has created a national association called the Security Systems Suppliers Association. (SSSA). According to SSSA which is based in Moscow the Russian security market has reached the stage of its development when consolidation of companies becomes a necessity. There are currently twelve members of SSSA. The Association aims to improve presale and warranty servicing of equipment. It also encourages fair competition and licensing of supplied equipment.
